For the first time, Chulpan Khamatova will present a rare program she performs only occasionally. The evening, titled “In Dotted Lines,” takes the form of a monologue—a tribute to three beloved poetesses: Anna Akhmatova, Marina Tsvetaeva, and Bella Akhmadulina, accompanied by pianist Polina Kondratkova.

“A life’s journey appears as a continuous line only from afar, but when you look closer, that line breaks into small dotted segments. And it is on those dotted points, like little islands, that the brightest memories are gathered,” says the actress about her program.

Chulpan Khamatova is a theatre and film actress, People’s Artist of Russia, co-founder of the charity foundation “Podari Zhizn” (Gift of Life), a two-time recipient of the Russian State Prize, and winner of prestigious awards such as Golden Mask, Kinotavr, TEFI, and many others. Over the course of her career, she has performed more than 50 film roles and around 30 theatre roles. Today, she is one of the most sought-after actresses in Russia. Her life is filled with film projects, theatre performances at Sovremennik Theatre and the Theatre of Nations, rehearsals, tours, significant charitable work, and raising her three daughters.
