Several years ago, being a recognized playwright, winner of the “Golden Mask”, winner of many awards Evgeny Grishkovets announced that he had removed the play “How I ate Up the dog” off the repertoire – and he didn’t’ perform it for a few years. But the audience liked it so much that Grishkovets decided to bring it back to life. He changed the text and the play found a new tune.
The main character changed together with the author of the play. Previously an openhearted romanticist shared the memories of his childhood, growing up and service at the Pacific Fleet with the audience. Now an adult man of forty does it from his perspective.
The duration of the play is 2 hours and 10 minutes, without intermission.
