After charming the Montreal public during his 2025 run, JULIEN DASSIN SINGS JOE DASSIN is returning to Quebec for a 12-performance tour that will traverse the province in May and June 2027, starting with a Toronto concert.

Through this show, Julien Dassin invites the public to rediscover the timeless universe of his father, Joe Dassin, a true legend of Francophone song with hits that have marked several generations: L’Été indien, Et si tu n’existais pas, Les Champs-Élysées, Salut les amoureux, Le Jardin du Luxembourg, and many others. Accompanied by his musicians, he offers an evening blending music, memories, and archival footage in a formula that is both simple and touching.

More than just a tribute, this project is meant to be an intimate encounter between a son and his father’s work. Julien Dassin does not seek to reproduce his father, but to share with the public an artistic legacy that continues to endure through time. This sincerity was noted during his previous tour. The media outlet Les ArtsZé mentioned the “noble intention” of an artist who chooses to bring this repertoire to life with respect and authenticity, while Sors-tu? praised a presence that was “sober and in service of the music.”
