Team behind ‘Immersive Van Gogh’ bringing ‘Immersive Frida Kahlo’ to Houston in 2022

The team behind “Immersive Van Gogh” is bringing a new exhibition to Houston next year. In early 2022, “Frida: Immersive Dream” will open at ArtSpace in west Houston.

Tickets, starting at $39.99, are now on sale for “Frida” which is expected to kick-off in February.

Lighthouse Immersive and Impact Museums are reuniting to celebrate the art and life of Frida Kahlo in digital form. The experiential exhibit will be reimagined by the team behind “Immersive Van Gogh,”  Massimiliano Siccardi and composer Luca Longobardi with Vittorio Guidotti as art director.

Lighthouse Immersive’s massive projections on architectural canvases will capture Kahlo’s surrealism and mysticism with revealing self-portraits mixed in. Featured works include “The Two Fridas” (1939), “The Wounded Deer” (1946), and “Diego and I” (1946).

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to be part of the producing team bringing the amazing work of Frida Kahlo to Houston,” said Vito Iaia, co-producer and co-founder of Impact Museums via statement. “Following on the incredible response to ‘Immersive Van Gogh,’ we are confident that ‘Frida: Immersive Dream’ will take fans on another groundbreaking journey through the mind of one of the world’s most celebrated artists.”
